Who can attend your shows and events?

Our day events are open to all ages. Most After Parties require you to be at least 18 years old to attend.

Can I purchase event tickets on Eventbrite?

No, you can only RSVP for the event on Eventbrite. You will need to go to 2hotradio.com . 

Will I be performing at BET Awards?

We are NOT AFFILIATED. We will only be hosting our event during BET Awards weekend, but it is not connected to BET it is a 2HotRadio show.

I was not able to make it to the show how can I perform virtually?

You may be able to submit your video for our remix show. Please view the show submission deadlines FAQ for a list of dates. Should you need any additional assistance, please contact our support team so someone can assist you [email protected]. 

How many tracks can I send in for my performance?

You get up to a 4-minute set which you submit one track, and that track can be a show mix. Keep in mind if you submit your music after the deadline there is a $75 late fee.

Do I have to perform the song I sent in for approval?

No, you can perform a different song than you originally sent in, but you will need to update us once at the event. No FLASH Drives!

What time do I perform?

Artist's performance stage times and stream links will be announced beginning on {date TBD}. For more information, please contact help.2hotradio.com. Please note: We charge a $75 fee for song submission changes the day of the event and $75 for late check ins. 

How do I submit my song?

You will receive an email with a link for you to submit your performance track

You want to notify us in advance if you can't make a performance so we can explain your options for a credit rather than waiting until after you missed the performance.

What is the maximum amount of people I can have in my group?

You can't have more than 5 members in your group to perform in our Who Wants To Make It show

How many people can join me on stage during my performance?

You want it to be you and the people that are a part of your set as you don't want others to take the judges eyes off your talent.

What time can artists start arriving to the show?

Each artist has a arrival time based on the time that they will be performing. That does not mean that artists can't arrive early we just give a time so as an artist you know not to arrive after that time. When it comes to our events once doors open guest can start arriving at any time as it is also a networking opportunity.

Who Wants to Make It is a dynamic talent search that tours the nation, scouting for exceptional singers and rappers. We host auditions in various cities, giving rising stars a platform to showcase their skills. Throughout the season, standout artists have the opportunity to perform at major events, gaining exposure and building their fanbase. This journey culminates in a grand finale where the season’s top talent competes for the ultimate title. The ultimate winner of each season claims the crown and secures a unique position in the music industry, potentially launching a significant career. "Who Wants to Make It" is about discovering new talent and propelling them onto the big stage.

This multi-video e-course is designed to help prepare you for jobs, gigs, and entrepreneurial ventures in the film, music, sports and entertainment industry. What You'll Learn Insider knowledge and tips on how to become successful, how to book gigs and jobs, and marketing expertise. Best of all, you'll learn from others who are already successful and actively working in the industry!

After The Course:The final test will be available immediately. If you pass, you'll receive certificate of completion that you can use on your resume. You'll also be added to our Film, which gives you 1st access to paid bookings, gigs, jobs and marketing contracts.  

Requirements: You must be at least 18 years or older, with a passion for acting, modeling, music, marketing or entrepreneurship.

When I submit my music does it need to be clean?

Clean versions of your music are preferred, but if you don't have one, that's okay. Just be sure to clearly indicate whether your track is clean or explicit.

Who can sign up to perform in your showcase?

We welcome talented artists from all walks of life! While our event may have 'Hip Hop' in the title, we are open to and actively seeking music from various genres, including Pop, R&B, Rock, Reggae, Afrobeat, Latin, Electronic, Jazz, Country, and more. Don’t let the name limit your creativity—bring your unique style and showcase your talent! 

What are the performance fees for the show?

There are no fees for the artists, but each artist is required to sell 10 tickets in order to lock in a performance slot. Outside of that we do say keep in mind if you are not in the area at which you booked to perform at then you are in charge of your own travel and hotel.

What should talent expect when preparing for performance?

There are always two microphones in the room and sound equipment, so you don't need to bring anything to do you perform if you do everything you need to do in advance. Your set time should not go over 4 minutes unless otherwise given permission.

Artist- Will be required to submit a track/showmix in advance to ensure we are ready to go the day of the show

DJ- Will be required to submit a mix as they will not be DJing instead they will be hyping the crowd to their mix

Model- You can either send a script to have someone on our team read what you are wearing or have someone on the stage doing that for you as you are doing your walk. You can have music playing in the background instead if that is what you prefer.

Actor- You want to be prepared to do a monologue during your show set catching the crowd attention

Comedian- You want to come with the jokes to keep the crowd entertained through your set

Dancer- You can submit a track to dance to or do your chants if you don't have a track 

Keep in mind if you are required to submit a track before your performance and you do not do so in the required time there is a $75 late fee.

Do I get paid for shows?

While this opportunity is unpaid, you will perform in front of an online audience that can reach thousands. Additionally, you'll have the chance to network with fellow artists and industry professionals. At the end of each season, at least one artist will win a $25K promotional tour and receive a line of credit up to $500K.

How can I get my song on the radio?

You can email your music and stats to [email protected] for us to review and determine if it’s a good fit for our station. If it meets our criteria, we’ll reach out to discuss adding your track to our rotation. Alternatively, you can submit your music as a Music Promo Member during 2Hot Tuesdays.
